Occlusive syndrome revealing an intramural jejunal hematoma

Abstract

Intramural jejunal hematoma is a very rare condition with only few cases reported in the literature. A 6-year-old girl, known to have Fanconi anemia, presented with an hemorrhagic syndrome and then with features of intestinal obstruction. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) revealed jejunal hematoma with signs of complete obstruction. A trial of non-operative management was effective.
