Objectives: The goal of this study was to assess the level of asthma control in Tunisian children and to identify the factors associated with asthma control. Methods: In a prospective study, between January and December 2009, we evaluated asthmatic children aged 4-18 years and having an asthma diagnosed for at least six months. Results: Asthma control was assessed in 270 children. In logistic regression analyses, the risk of having uncontrolled asthma was significantly associated with low socio-economic status, conjunctivitis and the therapeutic non compliance. Conclusions: This study confirmed that asthma control in Tunisian infants remains unsatisfactory.Downloads
