Introduction: Choanal atresia (CA) is a rare congenital interruption of communication between the nasal cavity and the nasopharynx. Its average incidence is 1/6000 births. Aim: Describe a rare association of bilateral CA and cleft lip-alveolar cleft. Observation: Male newborn with respiratory distress, right unilateral cleft lip-alveolar cleft and bilateral CA confirmed by CT scan, interatrial communication on echocardiography. Operated at 9 days of life with simple post-operative follow-up. Conclusion: Bilateral CA must be screened in the neonatal period with a search for possible associated malformations. Endonasal surgery under endoscopic guidance remains the treatment technique of choice.Downloads
