Abstract

Medical learning is a complex process traditionally based on theoretical lessons and practical training but it needs to incorporate innovative teaching tools, more suited to new students' generations. Gamification is one of these innovative tools which is being evaluated in medical education. This is a descriptive study on the implementation of a card game as a learning method in pediatrics. Three outpatient groups from the 2nd year of the Second Cycle of Medical Studies participated in this study. The results showed that the level of knowledge concerning the basic pathologies was heterogeneous with a disparity between the groups. The satisfaction forms showed that overall, the students were satisfied to very satisfied with this game session.
