Graves' disease poses a risk of fetal or neonatal thyrotoxicosis. When known before pregnancy, it justifies well-established monitoring of the fetus and newborn, thus allowing early and appropriate management. We report the case of neonatal hyperthyroidism secondary to maternal Graves' disease treated with iratherapy in order to discuss the difficulty of management of this pathology. The neonatologist must be able to evoke this thyroid pathology even in the event of cured maternal thyroid disease due to the risk of cardiac complications and neurological sequelae.Downloads
