Cerebral venous thrombosis is a very rare but serious complication of ulcerative colitis. We report the case of a child aged 7 years and 7 months, with a two years history of ulcerative colitis. The evolution was marked by the occurrence of convulsive status epilepticus on the third day of hospitalization due to cerebral venous thrombosis of the upper sagittal sinus and frontal cortical veins. He was treated by anticoagulant, with complete repermeabilisation after three months of treatment. No inherited thrombophilia was found.Downloads
