Resuscitation myopathy is a rare acquired neuromuscular complication in pediatric resuscitation. The clinical picture is represented by a flaccid quadriplegia and may require mechanical ventilation. Unlike resuscitation polyneuropathy, myopathy has a good prognosis. We report the case of an infant who was hospitalized for severe acute asthma (AAG) complicated by resuscitation myopathy.Downloads
