Cerebral hydatid cyst is rare (2%), and mainly affects children. We report a three-year-old patient with progressive symptomatology dominated by headache and vomiting, presenting a tonic-clonic hemicorporeal seizure at the pediatric emergency. Brain CT scan and MRI evoked a left parietal non-pyogenic abscess. The diagnosis was confirmed intraoperatively. The patient also had pulmonary and hepatic hydatid cysts. Hydatid serology was positive. Treatment was surgical (puncture-aspiration technique) with a simple postoperative course.Téléchargements
