Abstract

We report a pediatric observation of an aneurysmal bone cyst (ABO) of the spine in a 5-year-old child. The child was hospitalized with symptoms of acute spinal cord compression. The diagnosis was done by imaging showing vertebra plana and confirmed by histopathological examination of the operative specimen. In this article, we review the different clinical and radiological expressions of KOA of the spine and we recall principles of surgical management.
