The isolation of Salmonella is rare but an alarming circumstance in infants because of the high risk of neurological complications and death. We report a case of a 1 month and 20 days old infant hospitalized for febrile gastroenteritis complicated by sepsis, Salmonella meningitis and micro cerebral abscesses. The infant recovered after prolonged double antibiotic therapy.Downloads
