Clinical and paraclinical features of congenital neurologic bladder

Congenital neurogenic bladder (CNB) is a public health problem that may lead to recurrent urinary tract infections and chronic renal failure. Methods: Retrospective study of 32 CNB cases diagnosed and treated in Pediatric Department of the Charles Nicolle Hospital in Tunis over 20 and a half years. Results: The mean age was 6.9±4.29 years. Chronic renal failure was the main presenting feature in 53% of cases. The etiologies of CNB were myelomeningocele in 56%. Conclusion: The management of CNB remains still late in our country.Downloads
