A rare cause of intractable seizures: Hemimegalencephaly

Hemimegalencephaly is a rare congenital malformation of cortical development. It associates developmental delay, contralateral hemiparesis and intractable seizures. Few pediatric case reports have been published, showing a variety of clinical and evolutive features. We report the clinical course of a child with isolated hemimegalencephaly and severe epilepsy.Downloads
